The Aftermath

The Lapland Tour is officially over, and I'm not sure it is possible to be more tired. Five days of very little sleep, very cold weather, and a lot of fun sure do leave a person exhausted. Since I'm so tired, I decided to just put the best of my pictures here and keep the words to a minimum.
The Woods around our hotel,

A Totem Pole near our hotel

The entrance to the Alaskan Husky Farm

A Reindeer Pelt

Sweden. We were only separated by a river

Some trees near the hotel

Sweden in the background

A cute wooden cottage near the hotel

Sweden!

It was quite cold and snowy as you can see.

EVERYTHING was covered in ice

The Beautiful Sunset (At about 1:30pm)

A little troll

I found a tunnel slide and of course had to try it.
The view from the top of the hill I snowboarded down.

REINDEER!!

MORE REALLY CUTE REINDEER

Right before our sleigh ride

My Oldie and I shared a sleigh

A whole lot of reindeer butt

More reindeer butt

Our Reindeer

Alaskan Huskies!!!!

All the dogs were so playful!

Right before our Husky Ride

Dog Butts!!

The dogs moved quite fast so most of the pictures are blurry!

The lead dog is given commands about when to turn.

A PUPPY!! I wanted to take it home :)

We crossed the river into Sweden!
We were only in Sweden for about 5 minutes

Some reindeer in the distance

We feed the reindeer lichen. They really like lichen.

There was a HUGE pig too.

The next stop was a snow castle

It wasn't quite finished, but it was still really cool.

There was all sorts of snow art on the walls

Giant Snowmen
On the way home we stopped at the Santa Claus Village.

Santa's Mail

I can't thank Rotary, Rotex, and all the other exchange student enough for giving me suck an amazing 5 days!
